i'm back

yep started this blog in 2006 and now i'm back. hopefully i will keep up with it a little better - which won't be such a hard goal to meet as long as i make a post before another 3 years go by...

so not much has happened in the last few years...

i moved to central oregon and got a great job-

made a few new wonderful friends-

 

went skydiving-

traveled a bit-

met a cute boy-

married said cute boy-

made it through one year of marriage

bought a house

and got a new puppy (gus)

you know, nothing major!

so now my blog is up to date!

hopefully these updates will become a bit more regular, but i'll be happy if i make another post by 2012!

various torso

i often think there is far too much music in the world--dont get me wrong, i love music, but it's intimidating--almost every day i discover a new song or artist i really like that i need to add to my collection. and they're not necessarily new artists--i love so many different types of music--if only i could be a loyalist to just one--like classic rock, or country, or broadway showtunes, but no, i'm cursed with an ever increasing love of more and more genres. being born in the eighties didn't help--i have a lot of good stuff i missed--how am i ever supposed to catch up? i think it would be so much fun thinking up a band name if i were ever to start one i think we'd be called 'various torso'. back in college my roommates and i were all sitting around talking and we started to compare the length of our torsos and it was disturbing how very different they all were when we weren't necessarily all that different in height and i just liked the term.

so here it starts--who knows if i'll keep it up but as my dad would say, sure enough...
